Transfer cost:

 

The purchase or transfer costs are calculated on the value that occurs on the notarial title deed  as follows:

 

Sales price up to the amount of 400.000 €:                                                          8 %

Sales price between 400.000 € and 700.000 €:                                                    9 %

Sales price above the amount of  700.000 €:                                                      10 %

 

These transfer cost are for the expense of the purchaser.


Example for a purchase price of  595.000 €:

 

Ø  (0-400.000 €) x 8 % =  400.000 x 8 %                                         32.000 €

Ø  (400.000-595.000 €) = 195.000 €  x 9 %                                   17.550 €

 

Ø  Total:  32.000 + 17.500 €                                                          49.500 €

 

Example for a purchase price of 795.000 €:

 

Ø  (0-400.000 €) = 400.000 € x 8 %                                                               32.000 €

Ø  (400.000-700.000 €) = 300.000 €  x 9 %                                                  27.000 € 

Ø  (700.000-795.000 €) = 95.000 €  x 10 %                                                    9.500 €


Ø  Total:  32.000 + 27.000 € + 9500 €                                                        68.500 €

 

Other expenses (Notary, Registry, stamp duty etc. ...):

 

In addition, the buyer must recon with an amount of about € 1,500 for the notary, registration at the land registry, administrative costs, taxes etc  …
